The Great Cold War was one of the most unnecessarily dramatic events in the history of the Ghoulax community.

What began as a seemingly harmless disagreement between Ghoulax and Zyfley escalated into a legendary battle of strategy, patience, ego, and increasingly ridiculous decisions.

Zyfley proved himself to be a formidable opponent.
Unfortunately for him, he was fighting Ghoulax.
After several battles and one decisive final confrontation, Ghoulax emerged victorious.

The strange part?

They eventually became close friends.

The Incident

It began with an incident.

Nobody agrees on exactly what happened.
Some historians claim Zyfley challenged Ghoulax.
Others claim Ghoulax simply decided that Zyfley was getting too confident.
A third group claims the entire war started because of a completely unrelated joke.

Whatever the truth was, one thing became clear:
Ghoulax was NOT letting it slide.

The First Strike

Zyfley made the first serious move.
His strategy was reportedly calculated and surprisingly effective.

For a brief moment, the Archives believed Zyfley might actually have a chance.
Then Ghoulax responded.

The counterattack was so immediate that several witnesses allegedly stopped typing and simply watched.

The first battle was over.
The war had officially begun.

The Battle of the Discord

The most famous battle of the conflict took place on Discord.

Zyfley arrived prepared.

  • He had arguments.
  • He had strategy.
  • He had confidence.

Ghoulax arrived with something considerably more dangerous:
Aura

The battle continued through messages, replies, counterarguments, and increasingly ridiculous claims.

Zyfley fought hard.
Ghoulax fought harder.

Eventually, Ghoulax delivered the decisive response.
Silence followed.

Historians call this moment:
The Great Ghoulax Lock-In.

Zyfley’s Last Stand

Despite the defeat, Zyfley refused to surrender.
He launched one final attempt to turn the battle around.

It was impressive.
It was brave.
It was completely unsuccessful.

The Archives officially recognizes Zyfley’s final stand as one of the greatest losing performances in community history.

He lost to Ghoulax. (no surprise)

But he made it entertaining.

The Final Battle

The final confrontation was short.

Too short.

Zyfley attempted one last counterattack.
Ghoulax responded with a single devastating argument that allegedly caused the entire battlefield to go silent.

There was no second response.
No comeback.
No rematch.

The Archives recorded the result:
Winner: Ghoulax

The war was over.

The Peace

Despite Ghoulax’s decisive victory, the end of the war did not create permanent hostility.

Instead, something unexpected happened.
Ghoulax and Zyfley became close friends.
They continued working together, developing projects, and contributing to the same community.

The Archives considers this an extremely strange ending.

Zyfley lost the war.
Ghoulax won the war.

Everyone somehow won the friendship arc.
